Dr. Rob Stoll

Dr. Rob Stoll is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah.  He received his Ph.D. in Water Resources from the University of Minnesota in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.  His general research area is on how transport processes related to wind, temperature, and moisture at the land-atmosphere interface impact ecosystem functions.  His research group uses field experiments, lab experiments, and models to deduce links among turbulence, radiation, and canopy architecture to improve the sustainability of managed ecosystems.
