We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Terry Bates as our headline speaker for the Sustainable Ag Expo this year. Listen to Dr. Bates on a past podcast episode discuss the three phases of The Efficient Vineyard Project that help growers improve their farming techniques; Measure, Model, and Manage.

Through his research program, along with the staff at the Lake Erie Research and Extension Laboratory, Dr. Terry Bates works closely with producers and processors to identify research questions that are applicable to the industry. Those questions are then transformed into scientific research projects at the lab. They pass on the knowledge gained from those experiments to extension specialists, processor representatives, and grape producers in a variety of educational media, such as research publications, conferences, grower workshops, newsletters, and websites.
